The Michael Martin Band was featured on National Public Radio’s IPR The Scene during a one-hour music
special for their contributions to the Indiana music scene.

The MMB releases two EPs which were met with great critical acclaim from Denver’s TheExaminer.com andThe Star Press. Indiana Public Radio airs a live broadcast of album release. The MMB makes appearances at Ribfest, Dancing in the Dark Music Festival,
Muncie Gras and Bootlegger’s Inn on Broadway in Nashville, TN. The MMB collaborates with talented actress Cynda Williams from Spike Lee’s Mo’ Better Blues for their new tune, “This Songs for You Rosa Parks” and The Unity Project.

2012, 2013 MMB performs and is the featured artist for All Beer’s Considered, Indiana Public Radio’s biggest annual fundraiser, aptly named after NPR’s All Songs Considered.


The MMB makes all 5 CDs available for free download on michaelmartinband.com with 10,000+ downloads to date.

Mike’s Song ‘Sunday Morning Blues debuted in Movie Theatres in LA, Boston, and Naples in the film ‘Still Green’ and released on the sound track.

Mike’s Song ‘Like Johnny Loved June’ used in short film in Louisville 24 Hour Film festival which won best Cinematography.

Mike’s CD ‘Home Grown Vol. 1’ (FMMusic 2008) gets honorable mention in top CDs of 2008 in The Star Press.

Mike’s Song ‘What Would Jesus Do’ named in top 25 songs of 2008 in The Star Press.

Max 93.5 / 96.7 accepts Mike’s Idea of a “Live Music Show” broadcast out of Doc’s Music Hall and signs Mike on to be the host of the weekly radio broadcast

Mike’s CD ‘Going for Broke’ (2006 FMMusic) began getting airplay on 106.9 WXXC in Marion, Indiana, Max 93.5 / 96.7 WHYT Muncie and Anderson, Indiana.

Mike’s Song ‘Take Your Pills’ was selected to be in ‘Prison or Death’ a Documentary about Crystal Meth by Washington DC venture captialists.
Mike’s Song ‘John Wayne Song’ was picked as one of the top 25 songs of 2006 in The Star Press.

Mike signed promotional deal with Jagermeister Music Program.
